Exhibition: Germany’s Confrontation with the Holocaust in a Global Context

You are invited to a special event on 8th September 2015 to mark the occasion of an exhibition hosted by the Institute for German Studies and the Ironbridge International Institute for Cultural Heritage, University of Birmingham.

German at Leeds lecturers to work with young performers of RJC Dance company to create an original dance performance on the theme of the Holocaust.

The project 'Engaging Young Black Britons with the Relevance of The Holocaust' is part of our outreach activities. Two undergraduate students will also be recruited to work with RJC Dance and gain employability experience.

Two German undergraduates will be employed to help develop a dance performance relating to the history of the Holocaust. They will work closely with the young performers at RJC Dance to debate the relevance of the Holocaust for the present day and how this relevance can be expressed creatively.
